Samsung, this year, had launched its smartphones Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ which had reached to great excitement of the buyers. Also it is regarded as a bold move taken by the company. The model is lighter compared to the previous model Galaxy S8. This is the reason the phone is very easy to grap.
Samsung Galaxy S9 will come with its display of 5.8-inch and Galaxy S9+ of 6.2-inch. For both the screen resolutions are 1440×2960 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9 which are provided with Super AMOLED panels. The models run on latest Android Oreo 8.0. Both the phones are dust as well as water resistant. The phones can be put to the water at the depth of 1.5m for 30 minutes. The Galaxy S9 gets only 4GB of RAM while the Galaxy S9+ gets 6GB of RAM. The smartphones are powered by either Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810 SoC along with the new Mali-G72 GPU.
The phones are packed along with an AKG-tuned headset, a power adapter with fast charging support, a Type-C cable, a SIM eject tool, a silicone case, and a USB Type-C to Type-A adapter. The main rear camera on the phones are of 1/2.55-inch and 12-megapixel sensor with a pixel size of 1.4 microns. There is also a feature to change the aperture from f/2.4 to f/1.5. And the selfie cameras are of 8 MP with f/1.7 for 25mm wide. The screen protection of the phone are given by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. For both, other specifications include dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac with MU-MIMO antennas, Bluetooth 5, NFC, USB-OTG, GPS, 4G VoLTE. Also the sensors for both the models along with the usual ones include barometer, a Hall sensor, and a pressure sensor. The battery of the phones are non-removable Li-Ion for 3500 mAh.
