Motorola is going to come up with triple rear camera setup for the first time. The phone is named as Motorola P40. The dates of the phone launch is not yet announced. The device will be coming with the dimension of 160.1 x 71.2 x 8.7 mm. It consists of a IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen supporting 16M colors and is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass as usual. It will be running on the latest version of Android 9.0, Pie. It is going to be available in three variants of colors White, Black and Brown. The resolution of the phone is 1080 x 2310 pixels and is of 6.2 inches in size.The major feature of Motorola P40 is the triple rear camera setup at the back with 12 MP sensors and a 48 MP primary sensor. The front punch-hole selfie camera is of 12MP featured with LED flash. The comes with the chipset of Qualcomm SDM675 Snapdragon 675 and Octa-core CPU along with GPU of Adreno 612. The phone will be available in two different variants, one with RAM of 3GB and 32 GB internal memory. Another is of 4GB RAM and 64GB/ 128GB internal memory. The internal memory can be further expanded up to 256 GB using a microSD.
The other connectivity of Motorola P40 includes Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0, A2DP, LE, EDR, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, NFC, FM radio, USB 2.0 of Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and USB On-The-Go. The sensors of the phone includes Fingerprint mounted at the back of the device, accelerometer, gyro, proximity and compass. Moto P40 is powered with a Non-removable Li-Po 4132 mAh battery with fast charging capacity of 15W. The device has a Single Nano SIM or Hybrid Dual SIM setup slots in it that is Splash resistant.
